The extremity surgical drape is used to cover a patient's extremity such as a hand, arm or leg during a surgical procedure. Surgical drapes are employed to provide a physical barrier that protects the surgical field from contamination. After opening the package, follow the directional markings to orient the drape. Thread the foot or hand through the opening. Next follow the directional arrows and open to each side. open to the head and cover the arm boards. Then open to the feet.
